I have several Heartfields and fender hm and some reissues of the Hm all put away for future use .My go to is still the peavey tracer that has the Kahler same as the above mentioned but 100s of dollars cheaper
I have 3 Fender Performers and a Katana as well. The Performer is an incredible way under rated guitar that has a very wide range of tones... I think they play much better than my Strats and I can make them sound exactly like a Stratocaster, a Tele and even close to a Les Paul
I have an American made 1990 HM Strat in Chrome Red with a HS configuration. It's a very rare beast that I've been able to keep in amazing condition. I have a lot of guitars but this is my daily driver. For some reason, no other guitar I've owned can compare to the tone or match that hot DiMarzio humbucker. I've owned it for 32 years and if I live long enough, I'll own it another 32 years.

The Tracer... when you know, you know Tim. Don't tell anyone how good they are :-). Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the ground truth (and for reading) MrDan!

Way to hold onto it Joz! The HS configuration is seldem scene and maybe you have one with extra DiMarzio mojo.
